Deli Lites Ireland partners with Aer Lingus and Retail in Motion for new inflight offer

Premium food-to-go specialist Deli Lites Ireland has partnered with Aer Lingus and Retail in Motion on a new inflight offer.

Deli Lites products are now available as part of the Aer Lingus Bia Inflight Menu on European and UK routes for the winter catalogue range.

The Deli Lites team collaborated with some of Ireland’s top food suppliers to create the onboard offerings which include: Chicken & Signature Stuffing on Malted Bloomer Bread; Roast Ham & Irish Cheese Bloomer Tósta; Plant-Based Falafel & Caramelised Hummus Wrap; Breakfast Hash Brown Wrap; and Salt ‘n’ Chilli Chicken Wrap.

According to Deli Lites, the Aer Lingus listing marks a significant milestone for the company as it continues to expand its customer base locally and across Europe and to develop further within the travel sector.

Deli Lites Ireland, based in Warrenpoint, produces over 30 million food-to-go and artisanal bakery items annually that are sold globally.

The company achieved B-Corp certification in 2022.

The Aer Lingus deal comes on the back of a successful year for Deli Lites, which has claimed awards at the Sammies and the World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo and Great Taste honours for its Caramelita, Cinnabun and Lemon and Blueberry Bakewell products.

As reported, well-known industry executive Joe Harvey joined Deli Lites as Business Development Manager – Travel earlier this year. He is tasked with leading the company’s drive to grow in the airline, airport, rail and maritime channels.  ‍
