USA. Delta Air Lines has unveiled its newest and second largest Delta Sky Club at Salt Lake City International Airport, a near-34,000sq ft facility located in the Utah gateway’s expanded Concourse B.
The lounge, which can accommodate up to 600 guests, strengthens the carrier’s presence at one of its key western US hubs.
The airline noted the new facility combines operational scale with a strong sense of place, designed to reflect Utah’s landscapes and natural light.
Features include panoramic airfield views, a wrap-around premium bar, nine sound-proof phone booths and an expansive fresh food buffet.
Two beverage stations include a dedicated ‘Dirty Soda’ bar, a Utah-inspired feature unique to this location.
Design elements draw on Utah’s natural beauty, with a geometric ceiling and terrazzo mosaic flooring echoing winter light on snow, and interiors featuring rich woods, copper tones and jewel accents.
A curated art collection showcases local artists and regional landscapes.
The Sky Club also debuts Delta’s first digital immersion wall (pictured below), offering guests a 4D experience through panoramic visuals and soundscapes of Utah landmarks.
Complementing the new lounge, Delta is rolling out several customer-facing innovations at Salt Lake City Airport.
SkyMiles Members using the Fly Delta app can access TSA PreCheck Touchless ID for expedited security, while Delta One customers now benefit from an exclusive Delta One Check-in experience, a service set to be available at all Delta hubs by year-end.
