Guerlain has launched the limited-edition Terracotta Golden Dunes, a reinterpretation of its best-selling bronzing powder, introduced in 1984.
Terracotta Golden Dunes launched in global travel retail on 1 March.
Inspired by the light and landscapes of the Moroccan desert, the release pays tribute to the Terracotta line’s origins, long associated with sun-kissed radiance and natural glow.
For the first time, Guerlain has partnered with Moroccan artisan group Aït Manos, known for preserving and modernising traditional zellige (Moroccan tile-making) craftsmanship.
The collaboration features three refillable collector cases adorned with intricate patterns and marbled finishes inspired by semi-precious stones: Blue Dakhla, Red Zagora and Green Agafay.
Terracotta Golden Dunes combines bronzing, blush and illuminating tones with a warm golden undertone, designed to be blended for a multidimensional glow.
In a further evolution of the format, the powder can also be applied to the eyes, creating a complete makeup look from a single product.
The formula remains consistent with the existing Terracotta Light range, composed of 96% naturally derived ingredients and enriched with Moroccan flower honey.
Guerlain said the ultra-light texture is designed to fuse seamlessly with the skin, delivering a natural, radiant finish.
The product is complemented by a signature Kabuki brush, allowing for versatile application across face and eyes. ✈
