DFASS secures new inflight duty free partnership with Royal Jordanian Airlines

JORDAN. DFASS Group has secured an exclusive duty free partnership with Royal Jordanian Airlines, the flag carrier of Jordan, following a tender.

Miami-based DFASS Group, the world’s largest global inflight duty free specialty retailer, will launch what it described as a “unique programme” appealing to the needs and desires of the Royal Jordanian Airlines customer”.

DFASS said it will leverage its history of continually investing in and providing “state-of-the-art” technology and infrastructure to benefit Royal Jordanian and its passengers.

DFASS said it was chosen following a “rigorous” Request for Proposals (RFP), during which numerous factors were evaluated, including use of information technology, creative sales & marketing plans and access to prestige products, together with a global operational infrastructure.

“DFASS Group has the unique ability to deliver product, marketing and technology to generate a powerful inflight duty free program,” said Royal Jordanian President & CEO Captain Suleiman Obeidat.

“Royal Jordanian’s objective to sell duty free goods onboard is an added value to the services it offers its passengers. This time-saving shopping experience will enable our passengers to buy their needs at competitive prices.”
