DFASS wins duty free concession for AirAsia Philippines

PHILIPPINES. The DFASS Group has announced that it will take over the inflight duty free concession on AirAsia Philippines next month.

“It will be challenging to put this together in such a short time frame, but the airline management have been incredibly proactive and helpful,” said DFASS Deputy Chairman John Garner. “We are excited to have yet another member of the AirAsia Group choose our services.”

The Philippines contract follows the company’s recent win of a full inflight duty free concession onboard AirAsia Japan.

AirAsia Philippines launched services on 28 March 2012 with international flights to Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Korea. The airline is said to have significant new aircraft orders with Airbus Industries and a plan for rapid growth in the region.
