ASIA PACIFIC. DFS Group has announced a number of senior management changes in Asia Pacific as it continues to boost its regional leadership in order to move quickly on new business opportunities.

Yvette Ye joined the retailer this month as Region President for China, Korea and Taiwan. She will report to Chief Operating Officer Michael Schriver and be based in Shanghai. Keith Tam, Vice President of Store Operations Hainan, will report to Ms Ye.

She has over 18 years’ experience in general management, business development, operations management, marketing and global sourcing. Ms Ye was formerly Country Manager China for eyewear giant Luxottica Group. Previously she had held senior roles with Indesit, Bosch & Siemens and Bessemer Venture Partners.

Meanwhile, Craig McKenna the highly respected Managing Director of DFS Asia South and DFS Venture Singapore, is moving from his long-time Singapore base to return to his native New Zealand, where he will continue to hold responsibility for the Oceania Region as Managing Director. He will continue to chair the company’s airport tender committee globally.

His role as DFS Singapore Managing Director will be taken by Francois Rosset, who joined DFS from sister LVMH company Louis Vuitton in September. He served most recently as President for Latin America and South Africa, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. During his career at Louis Vuitton, he was responsible for the opening and development of key emerging markets, including Russia and South America.
