USA. World-leading luxury travel retailer DFS has opened the 12th edition of Masters of Wines and Spirits with a range of special events in Los Angeles.
As reported, this is the first time the ultra-prestige showcase for rare, luxury and often exclusive wines & spirits has made an appearance outside Asia.
The events complemented an exhibition in a DFS store at Los Angeles International Airport Tom Bradley International Terminal (see image below).
DFS will also open in-store exhibitions at San Francisco International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in coming days.
Exclusive masterclasses were held on 27 April in partnership with six renowned brands: Glenmorangie, The Macallan, Tomatin, Sazerac, Royal Salute and Shafer.
The subsequent evening event, attended by 197 guests, was led by DFS Senior Director for Spirits Wine Tobacco and Food Daniel Licari, who was Master of Ceremonies for the occasion.
Guests were taken on an immersive and interactive journey featuring six curated zones showcasing whisky from around the world, the DFS exclusive single-cask collection, fine wine, Champagne and rare Cognac.
Attendees met master distillers, blenders, winemakers and brand ambassadors, gaining insights into the history and heritage of these prestigious maisons and their masterpieces.
Masters of Wines & Spirits 2024 showcases the most extensive collection in the history of the event, featuring over 200 rare and exclusive wines, Champagne, whiskies, Cognac and more, curated from over 100 houses.
