Fine jewellery specialist Diamonds International has named well-respected travel retail executive Marcus Griffin as Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Griffin previously held a range of key leadership roles in travel retail and other industries.
Most recently, he was Chief People Officer at Florida-based transportation company Alfa Step One. Before that, he was the Global VP for People Operations at Flash Global, an international service supply chain solutions provider.
His career in travel retail started in 1996 when he joined the ARI HR team, where he served for more than nine years.
He then spent 11 years at Dufry Group (now Avolta) where he led the award-winning global retail sales programme, Dufry Plus1. During his term as the company’s SVP of Human Resources, Dufry America was named one of South Florida’s Top Workplaces from 2015 to 2017.
