Dimensi Eksklusif Managing Director Zainul Azman: “Business operations will commence on 1 September” |
MALAYSIA. Dimensi Eksklusif is to make its retailing debut at Penang International Airport, after being awarded the fragrances & cosmetics concession for the domestic concourse.
The company will operate in around 115sq m of space at Malaysia’s third busiest airport, which handled 4 million passengers last year, around 60% of these domestic. The airport also offers good connectivity to leading cities in south-east Asia through Air Asia and Malaysia Airlines.
Dimensi Eksklusif Managing Director Zainul Azman told The Moodie Report: “Business operations will commence on 1 September. We are very excited as this will be our maiden foray outside Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).”
The airport has been refurbished and will include around 60 stores, with P&C units in each of the domestic and international concourses.
Azman noted: “Penang Island is a very popular tourist destination and renowned for its delightful array of street food, culture and architectural heritage.
“With these attractions, the airport is consistently being upgraded to cater to the increasing demands from passengers. It means Penang International Airport can reap the benefits of higher spending customers in retail.”
