MALAYSIA. Malaysian retailer Dimensi Eksklusif scooped the top prize of ‘Retail Outlet of the Year’ for its cigar store during the inaugural Kuala Lumpur International Awards.
The 150sqm cigar outlet at KLIA achieved growth of +15% in 2005 against the previous year, while in 2006 it is expected to generate a revenue increase of +12%.
It was judged winner based on yield performance of shop size versus sales achieved.

Other winners include Malaysia Airlines for Overall Carrier of the Year; KLM as Foreign Carrier of the Year and McDonald’s for F&B Outlet of the Year.
The winners were based on passenger movements, sales growth, sales performance, presentation, international recognition as well as service performance.
