The Walt Disney Company has opened a temporary store on Schiphol World Avenue |
NETHERLANDS. The Walt Disney Company has opened a temporary shop at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, featuring brands from Disney such as Toy Story, Cars, Disney Princesses and Disney Fairies. The store is located on Schiphol World Avenue in Pier B.
The shop also stocks a wide selection of animated films on DVD and Disney Blu-ray, alongside a broad range of games and toys.
Outside the shop passengers will find a 3m tall wish tree – themed Wish Upon a Star – on which they can hang a wish. The best wishes will be rewarded with a Toy Story 3 carrier bicycle or the wish-maker’s own height in Disney DVDs.
“We are proud to be the first airport in Europe to have a temporary Disney store. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is keen to be and remain Europe’s preferred airport. The Walt Disney Company’s opening of this temporary shop contributes to this aim by allowing us to cater to our passengers with a refreshing range of retail options alongside the standard fare,” said Consumers Business Area Director Otto Ambagtsheer.
