Distell has revealed its latest flavour innovation, Amarula Chocolate, at TFWA World Exhibition. The cream liqueur features the distinctive flavour of the marula fruit and chocolate undertones of African cocoa beans.
The product is in line with Distell’s commitment to using only sustainably sourced cocoa. The company said that African cocoa is renowned around the world for its intense chocolate aroma and flavour.

Suggested drinking options include Amarula Chocolate chilled over ice, in a cocktail, added to coffee or as a milkshake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sprinkles. It has an ABV of 15.5% and will be available in 70cl, 75cl or one-litre sizes.

The liqueur will be launching with Big Five Duty Free in South Africa in December with a full concourse activation.
