Luxury accessories brand Maison Roger Vivier has opened a store at Changi Airport Terminal 1, its third in Singapore.
The boutique is the first in the French brand’s growing regional retail network to feature its refreshed store concept underlining Roger Vivier’s style and heritage.
The store design echoes the style of Roger Vivier’s historic Parisian boutique on Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. Traditional elements blend with modern details and include geometric-patterned oak parquet flooring, intricate ceiling mouldings and white, beige and silver walls.
According to the brand, the Maison’s image is “dressed anew, accentuating the codes that define its identity”.
Carpets, seating and display units are in soft pink to highlight Roger Vivier’s latest shoes, bags, jewellery and waistcoats. Consoles are by Hervé Van Der Straeten, while floral-shaped fixtures on mirrored walls pay homage to some of the Maison’s historic designs.
Baroque mirrors, fixed directly on top of antique ones spanning the walls, aim to enhance their impact without disrupting the interplay of reflections.
Collages from the brand’s founder Roger Vivier – known for heels, including the first stiletto, that defied convention but also shoe designs that were considered as works of art – are also featured. ✈
