Dubai Duty Free announces latest Millennium Millionaire winner

The latest Millennium Millionaire draw was conducted by Dubai Duty Free’s Executive Vice Chairman Colm McLoughlin, Senior Vice President – Corporate Communications Salah Tahlak, Vice President – Marketing Sinead El Sibai and Vice President – Human Resources Nic Bruwer

UAE. Dubai Duty Free has crowned the 216th winner of its popular Millennium Millionaire promotion.

Swiss national Jeffry Rama’s ticket was drawn at an event held in Concourse B, Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. He had entered the competition for the first time and is now US$1 million richer.

Dubai Duty Free’s Executive Vice Chairman Colm McLoughlin, Senior Vice President – Corporate Communications Salah Tahlak, Vice President – Marketing Sinead El Sibai and Vice President – Human Resources Nic Bruwer also formally presented the 215th winner of the competition with a ceremonial cheque.

Indian national Muttath Francis Davis, who lives in Sharjah, had his ticket drawn a few weeks earlier by Dubai Civil Aviation Authority President and Dubai Duty Free Chairman H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

The retailer also conducted its Finest Surprise draw, and the fact that the winner was two-year-old Pakistani national Ahmed Abdur-Rasay presented a surprise of its own. His father, Muhammad Bakhsh, had purchased the winning ticket in his son’s name and will receive a Ducati Superbike 959. Bakhsh, who lives with his wife and son in Dubai, has been entering the Finest Surprise promotion for eight years.
