UAE. Dubai Duty Free has announced the latest winners of its Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draws.
A Japanese national and a Dubai-based Indian national became instant millionaires after their tickets were drawn in in Concourse B , Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport today (31 October).

Yasunobu Yamada, from Fukuoka, Japan, works as a manager for JTB Kyushu and bought five tickets for the Millennium Millionaire draw on his way to Germany for a business trip.
Santosh Vijayan, a father of two who has been living in Dubai for 27 years, works as an operations manager for the Abu Dhabi branch of Al Faris Group. Both have won US$1 million.
Two winners of luxury vehicles were also announced in the Finest Surprise promotion. Osman Khar, a British national based in Abu Dhabi, will drive home a Quantum Silver Aston Martin Rapide. Dileep Sasi, an Indian national living in Dubai, won a BMW R Nine T Racer motorbike. He works for Dubai Airports.
Present at the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draws were Dubai Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman Colm McLoughlin; Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi; Executive Vice President – Corporate Services Salah Tahlak; Executive Vice President – Commercial Nic Bruwer; Senior Vice President – Retail Sales Sean Staunton; and Senior Vice President – Retail Support Michael Schmidt.
