UAE. To mark the upcoming Eid Al Fitr festival, Dubai Duty Free is offering customers a -20% discount across a wide range of goods from 30 June to 3 July.
The festival coincides with the end of Ramadan and coincides with the summer break in the UAE, which is expected to prompt a surge in passenger numbers travelling through Dubai International.
Dubai Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Colm McLoughlin said: “Dubai Duty Free is always looking at ways to improve our customers’ experience. This special -20% discount promotion aims to provide all our customers flying in and out of Dubai International and Al Maktoum International Airport with an attractive and affordable way of shopping in our retail outlets.
“We are optimistic that residents and visitors who choose to travel on these days will take advantage of this exciting offer.”
The offer applies to selected categories including perfumes, cosmetics, watches, pens, costume jewellery, precious jewellery, handbags, sunglasses, women’s and men’s fashion. It excludes certain categories including gold, electronics and selected watch brands.
Customers can also avail of this offer online through the retailer’s website and the discount will be available at Dubai Duty Free’s dedicated Web Shops located in all concourses and terminals during the promotion period.
Dubai Duty Free currently operates some 34,000sq m of retail space at Dubai International, including 7,000sq m of the recently opened Concourse D. It also runs 2,500sq m of space at Al Maktoum International in Dubai South.
