UAE. Dubai Duty Free has been recognised in the ‘Best Airport for Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East’ category at the recent Business Traveller Middle East (BTME) Awards.
The retailer took the award for the 17th consecutive year after Dubai International Airport came top in a reader survey conducted by the magazine.

More than 400 executives from the travel industry attended the awards ceremony at the Palazzo Versace Dubai hotel. BBC security correspondent and author Frank Gardner OBE was Guest of Honour.
Commenting on the BTME award, Dubai Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman and CEO Colm McLoughlin said: “This award reflects the views and opinions of frequent travellers and to receive this for the 17th consecutive year is very special and reflects the hard work of all of our employees.
