The dark truffle with cherry joins the Duc d’O Intense Collection |
Duc d’O will showcase a new dark truffle with cherry taste from its Intense Collection of flaked chocolate truffles during next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific in Singapore (Stand: C32 basement 2).

The Intense Collection includes white with strawberry, milk with hazelnut and milk with crunchy biscuit flavours. The new truffle is enriched with natural freeze-dried pieces of cherry and natural cherry flavours. It will be available in three packaging formats: a 100g box, a 200g box and the Duc d’O Luxury Bag.
Following extensive consumer research, the Belgian chocolatier renewed its brand in 2013 and is now determined to strengthen its market position through the new flavour and improvements to its luxury bag presentation.
Duc d’O says it has been working to optimise the luxury bag for both retailers and consumers. The glue strip closure has been replaced by a clip which makes the bag reclosable, each bag has an improved quality seal, with links to create a more authentic look, while a branded milky foil has been introduced.
In the bag Duc d’O has replaced the two vertical trays of 100g of truffles with four horizontal 50g trays ensuring the chocolate flakes stay in place instead of dropping to the bottom of the packaging. Smaller portions ensure product freshness, the brand stated.
