Duty Free Philippines to open downtown shop in Zamboanga City

PHILIPPINES. Duty Free Philippines (DFP) is to open a downtown store in the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (Zamboecozone).

Chief Operating Officer Vicente Pelagio Angala confirmed to The Moodie Davitt Report that DFP signed a lease agreement on Wednesday to build and operate the store.

The downtown shop will open in the first quarter of 2018 at the Zamboecozone complex. The design is still being finalised.

Zamboecozone, also known as Zamboanga Freeport Authority, is a special economic zone in Zamboanga City in Mindanao, Philippines. Mindanao is the second-largest island in the Philippines.
