
FRANCE. American watch distributor E. Gluck Corporation will be introducing new watches and wearable tech accessories from footwear brand Steve Madden into global travel retail.
E. Gluck will reveal Steve Madden’s wearable tech accessories at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (2-6 October) via its presence in the Blue Village [F-15].
The New York-based brand targets young, fashion-forward consumers.
“We are thrilled to bring a fashion power player like Steve Madden to duty free and travel retail,” commented E. Gluck SVP of Global Sales & Travel Retail Robert Robertaccio. “The Steve Madden brand allows us to further engage our trend and fashion customer with high quality, on-trend pieces across several categories, including fashion watches, wearables, hearables, and more.”
According to Robertaccio, E. Gluck has already received a positive response to Steve watches Madden’s wearable tech accessories in domestic markets globally. “Given the early positive reactions we have received,” said Robertaccio, “we expect this category to be a hit in duty free and travel retail.”
The range is currently available domestically in ten countries. The wearable pieces retail at US$35-$70, while the watch collection has a recommended retail price of US$55-$150.
