US. Elizabeth Arden has extended its flagship Ceramide range with new Plump Perfect and Ceramide Makeup items. They are scheduled to roll out domestically in August 2009.

These new anti-ageing moisturisers are said to take plumping to a new level with CPT technology (Cellular Plumping Technology). The blend of Snap-8, a new peptide, and a collagen-supporting naturally-derived extract creates a double dimension plumping effect on skin’s appearance. It works to smooth and relax the appearance of surface lines as it targets wrinkles to firm, lift and redensify the look of skin, the brand maintains.
Ceramide Plump Perfect Ultra Lift and Firm Moisture Cream and Lotion SPF 30 also provide hydration with moisture-boosting Ceramides, and offer broad spectrum sun and daily environmental protection.

But sun, age, stress and facial tension all have a cumulative effect on skin, leading to dryness, rough texture, fine surface lines and wrinkles, and a loss of vitality in skin’s essential collagen and elastin.
“New Plump Perfect with CPT technology was developed to address the multiple effects of this process and give skin’s appearance a real plumping boost,” he said.
Ceramide Plump Perfect Gentle Line Smoothing Exfoliator
The new Ceramide Plump Perfect Gentle Line Smoothing Exfoliator is a weekly treatment designed to keep skin glowing. This creamy skin polisher is enriched with CPT technology, vitamins and botanicals. It contains micro-fine beads to give skin a gentle deep-cleansing as it refines the look of pores and imperfections. It leaves skin looking smoother, revitalised, plumper and less lined – ready to receive moisturising benefits, the brand added.

CERAMIDE MAKEUP COLLECTION
Ceramide Makeup has added more colour and anti-ageing benefits to its collection with two new products, plus a new range of lipstick shades.
Ceramide Skin Smoothing Concealer
This ultra creamy concealer, infused with anti-ageing Ceramide technology, is said to minimise the appearance of fine lines and hide dark circles. It also helps to firm and tone the look of under-eye skin and reduce puffiness.
Ceramide Triple Complex retexturises, soothes and strengthens skin’s appearance while light-diffusing pigments help to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The infusion of vitamins A, C, and E provides antioxidant protection. It also contains Argireline, a potent hexapeptide proven to measurably plump surface lines to help diminish visible signs of ageing.
It is available in four shades: Ivory, Fair, Light, and Medium.
Ceramide Cream Blush
This soft cream blush is said to glide on easily and blend evenly, creating a natural looking glow. It also contains Ceramide Triple Complex and vitamins A, C, and E.
It comes in four shades: Nectar, Pink, Honey, and Plum.
Ceramide Plump Perfect Lipstick – five new shades
Ceramide Plump Perfect Lipstick now comes in five new shades: Perfect Scarlet, Perfect Melon, Perfect Tulip, Perfect Flamingo and Perfect Amethyst.
The product contains Maxi-Lip to help plump lip volume and reduce the appearance of vertical lines on lips. Tahitian Gardenia extract soothes and hydrates lips. It also contains Ceramide Triple Complex and vitamins A, C, and E.

This lightweight cream make-up with Ceramide Plump Perfect technology visibly softens the appearance of fine lines, smooths imperfections and evens out skin tone.
Calibrated microspheres deliver precision colour that lasts all day, while the adjustable and lightweight formula provides medium to full coverage.
The collection also contains Argireline, a potent hexapeptide proven to measurably plump surface lines to help diminish visible signs of ageing. It also contains Ceramide Triple Complex and vitamins A, C, and E.

Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara
This is Elizabeth Arden’s first-ever mascara infused with Ceramide Triple Complex and Keravis to help lengthen, define and revitalise lashes.
It contains the exclusive Ceramide Triple Complex (Ceramides 1, 3 and 6) plus Vitamins A, C and E to help reinforce and restore lashes’ natural protective barrier. It also contains Keravis, a conditioning ingredient known to help strengthen and fortify lashes.
The product won’t smudge, flake or clump, according to Arden, and removes easily with the brand’s All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover.
It comes in two shades: Black and Black Brown.
Ceramide Skin Smoothing Loose Powder
This ultra lightweight powder is designed to deliver advanced Ceramide anti-ageing benefits. Optical diffusers visually blur fine lines and imperfections, creating a younger and smoother complexion that is perfectly finished all day long, the brand said.
It is available in four shades: Translucent, Light, Medium, and Deep.
