Emirates Leisure Retail brings Coopers Alehouse to Sydney Airport

AUSTRALIA. Emirates Leisure Retail Australia (ELRA) has partnered with Coopers Alehouse to set up a concept bar at Sydney Airport, the brewery’s first in the city.

Coopers Alehouse opened today (20 August) in the airport’s domestic Terminal 2, serving travellers a wide selection of food and beverages. Emirates Leisure Retail has also opened a Hudsons Coffee outlet alongside the bar.

The fully branded Coopers bar offers the family-owned brewery’s ales on tap, as well as bottled local and imported beers, wines and pre-mixed beverages. The menu features breakfast, lunch and dinner classics including deli sandwiches, gourmet pizzas and entrée-sized light bites.

Sydney Airport General Manager Retail Andrew Gardiner said: “It’s a natural fit for Australia’s busiest terminal to feature an iconic Australian brewery. Offering great choices, convenience and providing a pleasurable travel experience to customers is at the heart of our retail strategy.

“Coopers Alehouse will provide another sensational dining choice to travellers, further cementing our commitment to the expansion and revitalisation of T2.”

ELRA Managing Director Adam Summerville added: “We are delighted to take this partnership to a new level with the launch of Coopers Alehouse at T2, as well as our new Hudsons Coffee outlet.

“ELRA’s track record as an effective partner and operator for brands is a key part of our ability to work with iconic names such as Coopers, and we hope to continue this success in future projects with them.”

The new bar at Sydney Airport will be open daily from 5am to 10.30pm.
