AUSTRALIA. Equss has expanded its fashion range with the launch of leather accessories to complement the existing assortment of jewellery and watches.
The launch forms part of a new corporate image to “ensure a successful performance on the international luxury goods market”, Equss said, as the company positions itself as a global brand leader in fashionable, affordable luxury.
This year, besides doing business in the travel retail market, the first Equss domestic store began trading in Saudi Arabia, and the company is set to open two more shops, in Australia and Beijing. In 2009, Equss is forecasting 10 more domestic stores worldwide.
Said Managing Director Alex Chaves: “These openings offer good opportunities for us to build up the ‘fashion empire’ of Equss. With our fast growth, we are confident we will achieve distinction in both travel retail and domestic markets worldwide.”

He added: “By adding the leather accessories category, Equss is offering a wider selection of products in different categories to maximise market penetration and create higher revenue, at the same time as presenting itself as a comprehensive fashion designer brand.”
To meet the requirements of fashion customers, the company’s designers are using modern technology and researching the history of fashion to create ever-new jewellery, watches and leather accessories collections.
The products are available in a wide range of styles at affordable prices, which is claimed to be one of the brand’s USPs.
