Eric Carlier has been appointed Travel Retail Director by French chocolatier Saveurs & Nature.
Carlier joins the company after over 19 years with French premium chocolate specialist Valrhona where he was Travel & Retail Director. He will lead the development of Saveurs &Nature’s travel retail-exclusive brand, Chocolats de Pauline.
Saveurs & Nature was founded by Michel Mortreau in 2005, with a focus on organic products and sustainability.
Its chocolates are made from certified cocoa beans and do not include soy lecithin, palm oil, gluten and preservatives. Cardboard packaging is scoured from sustainably managed forests.
“Chocolats de Pauline is full of promises for the customer and I am very excited about my new challenge to boost its development in the global travel retail network,” Carlier said. A global brand and packaging revamp is planned for 2021, he added.
