Escape Lounges to expand services with new location at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International

Escape Lounges is owned and operated by Manchester Airports Group company CAVU Group

USA. Escape Lounges at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is relocating to a larger space within Concourse B, where it has operated since 2019.

The estimated US$7.4 million investment will renovate a 6,767sq ft space on Concourse B’s mezzanine level. The lounge will be over four times larger than the current Escape Lounges and is scheduled to open in late 2025.

The lounge is moving to a repurposed space near gate B12 to enhance the passenger experience

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport CEO Candace McGraw said: “CVG continues to experience year-over-year passenger growth, and the new Escape Lounges location will provide significantly more space for more customers.

“Escape Lounges has five years of experience at CVG and is well-suited to continue to provide premium amenities for our travellers.”

The lounge emphasises sense of place through regional art and heritage

The design plans for the new space feature four zones: Bluegrass Backstage, a bar showcasing local breweries and distilleries; Riverbank Retreat, a dining area inspired by the Ohio River; Queen City Oasis, featuring relaxed seating and local artworks; and the Maker’s Mark Workshop with banquette seating showcasing the region’s industrial heritage.

Escape Lounges’ menu will rotate regularly, offering a variety of local and international dishes. For breakfast, guests can expect items such as scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes and biscuits.

The space will showcase minimalist design with structured hanging lamps

Throughout the day, the menu will include entrées such as roasted chicken, barbecue chicken, pulled beef with cornbread, pasta and soup. Salads and cold sandwiches will also be available.

Snacks will include a mix of savoury options such as cured meats, cheeses, nuts, tortilla chips with salsa, and potato chips. Sweet offerings like cookies, muffins, donuts and cakes will also be on the menu for passengers. ‍
