EssilorLuxottica and Jimmy Choo strike ten-year global eyewear licensing agreement

Jimmy Choo is the latest addition to EssilorLuxottica’s wide portfolio of global brands which include Ray-Ban, Oakley, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Bulgari, Burberry, Chanel Persol, Vogue Eyewear and Costa, among others

Luxury fashion brand Jimmy Choo has entered a ten-year exclusive licensing agreement with EssilorLuxottica for the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of Jimmy Choo Eyewear.

The agreement will take effect on 1 January 2024 and runs until 31 December 2028 with an automatic renewal option for a further five years.

The first collection under the agreement will be available from Q1 2024.

The range will be developed under the leadership of Jimmy Choo Creative Director Sandra Choi.

According to the partners, this collaboration matches what they describe as Jimmy Choo’s glamorous style and playfully daring spirit with EssilorLuxottica’s craftsmanship, innovation capabilities and expertise.

Both companies noted that this partnership ushers in a new era for Jimmy Choo, “with a commitment to the continuous pursuit of excellence” that embodies the brand’s approach to luxury.
