Premium eyewear specialist EssilorLuxottica has revealed Burberry eyewear’s seasonal capsule eyewear collection, which was showcased in an activation that ended last month. The latest range was presented at Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex in Haitang Bay, in partnership with China Duty Free Group.
The display featured a blend of “elegance, summer and bespoke eyewear”, aligned with the company’s commitment to elevating the sunglasses category through design and sustainable innovation.
Under the creative direction of Daniel Lee, the design concept of the Burberry eyewear summer campaign was inspired by the essence of an island escape.

The promotional space features a variety of styles and colours, with a strong focus on the signature hue of the collection: the seasonal milky topaz blue.
The collection comes in a variety of silhouettes, including vintage, statement and oversized frames.
The summer range includes two optical and two sunglasses, all inspired by the brand’s signature Lola bag. The quilted design has been reimagined with textual temples and comes with a gold-plated Thomas Burberry monogram.
The new designs are made with renewable resources, recycled content and bio-based materials, underlining EssilorLuxottica’s commitment to sustainability.
EssilorLuxottica APAC Travel Retail Director Gianmarco Montesano said: “EssilorLuxottica is proud to have blended luxury, sustainability and design in Burberry’s latest seasonal capsule, reflecting our strong commitment to stylish silhouettes and environmental consciousness.
“With our partners at China Duty Free Group, we delivered Burberry’s luxurious summer spirit to Haitang Bay for consumers to channel all year round. This campaign highlighted our wider sustainability programme Eyes on the Planet and our dedication to delivering bespoke eyewear through responsible design.” ✈
