Estée Lauder blooms with Pleasures and extends Pure Color Crystal Baby

Estée Lauder has updated its Pleasures portfolio with a new fragrance, Pleasures Flower Eau de Parfum (pictured). It is available now in travel retail in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The fruity-floral juice opens on notes of bergamot, neroli, mandarin and cassis, building to a heart of peony, rose, muguet, jasmine and coconut water. The base blends ambrox and vetiver.

The fragrance flacon is a reworked version of the original Pleasures bottle, decorated with a silk-screen floral print inspired by the style of pop artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. The outer carton echoes that motif.

Meanwhile, within cosmetics Estée Lauder has unveiled its Pure Color Crystal Baby Makeup Collection, developed for Asian consumers. The line is rolling out this month to travel retail doors in the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Crystal Baby is a Pure Colour lipstick shade, first launched 10 years ago, that in Asia is thought to “˜invite happiness’ and bring good luck to the wearer. It remains one of the brand’s best-selling lipstick shades in the region.

The lipstick is now complemented by a selection of products for lips, cheeks and nails, featuring a palette of baby pinks, corals and nudes. The lip offer includes a new Pure Color Crystal Baby lip gloss. Other highlights are Pure Color Crystal Baby Shimmer Powder in the limited-edition shade of Crystal Baby, and a Pure Color Crystal Baby Nail Lacquer.
