Ever Rich Duty Free has today (26 June) announced the completion of its Terminal 2 Concourse C Duty Free and Public Services Project at Taoyuan International Airport.
This five-year initiative is built on cultural and traveller-centric values to elevate the retail, dining and public service offerings at the travel hub.

The project establishes a new standard for the private-public partnership model in Taiwan and reinforces the airport’s status as a world-class cultural gateway, the retailer said.

Themed ‘Marketing Taiwan, Connecting the World’, Ever Rich has reimagined Terminal 2 with a vibrant retail offering, including boutiques from globally recognised brands.
A key highlight of the revamp is a Taiwan-themed store curated in collaboration with over ten local art galleries, offering travellers a wide selection of culturally unique, locally made products.

The terminal also features redesigned flagship stores from key global brands, along with the new Taiwan Liquor Pavilion, which highlights local names such as Kinmen Kaoliang and Omar Whisky.
Adding to the diverse retail mix is a toy concept store featuring 20 trending global brands, including Pop Mart and Jellycat.
Enhancing the dining experience, Ever Rich combines in-house operations with strategic partnerships, introducing Michelin Guide-recommended brands.
F&B options include the C3 Taiwan Cuisine area, known for its classic Taiwanese snacks and winner at the 2023 Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Awards for ‘Best Representation of Sense of Place’.
As part of the terminal’s public facility upgrades, ten traditional boarding lounges have been completely renovated, combining AI-powered interactive features and Taiwanese cultural elements.
These include ‘Island Odyssey’, which celebrates Taiwan’s offshore islands, and the ‘Formosa Cultural Gate Lounge’, themed around Indigenous, Hakka and Minnan cultures.
Reinforcing its sustainability commitment, Ever Rich has developed the Liu-Li Glass Pool, made with 6.5 tonnes of recycled glass.
The company’s longstanding focus on promoting Taiwanese culture has been honoured by key cultural institutions, including the General Association of Chinese Culture.
The project was awarded to Ever Rich in 2018, with construction beginning in 2019 and resuming in late 2022 after the reopening of Taiwan’s borders.
Taoyuan International Airport Corporation Chairman Wei-Fu Yang lauded the retailer’s commitment during the pandemic, underlining its crucial partnership in ensuring airport continuity. He also highlighted the importance of continued cooperation to boost the airport’s international ranking.
Ever Rich Chairman Simon Chiang underscored the company’s 30-year commitment to duty-free retail, guided by its core vision of “Benefiting the Public”, and to establish the world’s first culture-driven airport. ✈
