TAIPEI. Ever Rich Duty Free Shop has opened a pair of pop-ups themed around Marvel comics and the latest Toy Story film at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
The Marvel pop-up celebrates the 80th anniversary of the comic books brand. It opened near boarding gate A7 in Taoyuan Airport’s Terminal 1 on 1 July and runs to 31 August.
A range of celebratory products and clothing is being offered, including officially licensed versions of the Spider-Man and Iron Man suits. The superhero clothes are branded with a new lightweight and flexible technology, combined with a moisture transmission system, a non-toxic sublimation texture printing process, and an exclusive Marvel hologram security label.
Passengers who spend more than NT$3,000 (US$96) are able to purchase an Iron Man baseball cap for NT$1.
The Toy Story pop-up shop is located near boarding gate B7 in Terminal 1 and will be open until the end of August.
With a special focus on the new Toy Story 4 film, the pop-up offers a selection of authorised products including squeeze toy aliens and bluetooth speakers based on the characters Rex and Ducky & Bunny.
