SPAIN. The 2025 Airport Food and Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Awards is now just three weeks away and as the countdown quickens The Moodie Davitt Report proudly reveals the finalists in the most popular category this year – FAB Airport Food & Beverage Offer Best Representing Sense of Place.
The 2025 Award winners will be revealed at the FAB 2025 Gala Dinner in Barcelona on 26 June.
There are 23 categories in this year’s FAB Awards, which attracted a record-breaking number of entries. There will also be additional special judges’ awards.
Commenting on the latest shortlist, The Moodie Davitt Report Chairman and Founder of the FAB Awards Martin Moodie said: “This category attracted a record number of entries, by far the highest in FAB 2025. That represents an important statement in terms of the importance airports and their commercial partners rightly place on reflecting local cuisine and culture.
“During the invidious task of more than halving the consistently excellent entries to an ultimate shortlist, our judges stayed true to what we consider the essence of sense of place. Not just downtown concepts reimagined in an airport but offers and environments that truly seek to capture the tastes, traditions, heritage and history of a particular location.”
The remaining category finalists will be announced this week.
