MIDDLE EAST. Chalhoub Group-owned beauty retailer Faces has partnered with market-leading brand experience company Revieve to launch what it claims to be the first-ever digital skincare experience in the Middle East.
The Faces Skin Advisor is a digital, personalised experience that helps customers discover and purchase the right products for their skin from the comfort of their own homes.
The technology is powered by Revieve’s Digital Skincare Advisor, and AI-powered self-diagnostic tool that analyses a user’s skin and offers real-time skin and beauty recommendations. Using Revieve’s proprietary computer vision technology and mobile skin diagnostics, the tool analyses over 120 skin metrics using expert algorithms specifically designed to analyse skincare and beauty-related facial features.
The Faces Skin Advisor works in three steps. First, users take a selfie and answer a few questions about their skin type and concerns. Second, they are provided with an in-depth analysis and lastly, are offered personalised product recommendations from Faces, suited to their specific skin issues.

Faces customers can now utilise the Faces Skin Advisor tool across mobile and desktop on all browsers.
“At Faces, we put our customers at the heart of everything we do, and we are thrilled to partner with Revieve to offer them a more personalised skincare journey,” commented Faces Vice President Salem Kaissi.
“Over the past year, we noticed a rise in skincare products and to enhance our customers’ experience we are bringing to the region an AI-powered solution for tailored recommendation through self-diagnostic in real-time. We are focusing on technology and innovation to respond to our hybrid consumers by creating meaningful connections and memorable experiences to always delight them”
Revieve CEO and Co-Founder Sampo Parkkinen added, “This partnership will provide a more personalised skincare experience for customers across the Middle East. We are beyond excited to introduce the first digital skincare experience to customers in the region as we connect them with products tailored to their unique personal needs through our partnership with Faces.”
