Falic Group launches UETA MEA global diplomatic supply business out of Dubai

UAE. Falic Group, owners of Duty Free Americas, today announced the launch of UETA MEA, a business specialised in serving diplomats worldwide.

The business is headquartered in Dubai with plans to extend its reach into Europe and Asia starting soon.

UETA MEA simultaneously announced the appointment of two experienced specialist diplomatic sector professionals.

Joe Swords is named General Manager and James Grundy Sales Manager and Head of Logistics, both effective from December.

Swords and Grundy collectively bring over a decade of customer, sales and business development experience from their previous roles in the diplomatic business.

The team is supported by Commercial Director Leon Ashford, who adds a strong background in commercial strategy and market analysis.

All three were formerly with Dubai-based International Diplomatic Supplies (Ashford until November 2022). Further appointments will be revealed soon.
