Ferragamo Parfums previews fragrant new trio – 10/11/08

ITALY. Ferragamo Parfums previewed a selection of fragrance launches at last month’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

Amongst these was Incanto Bliss, the latest in a fragrance collection that also includes Incanto Shine, Incanto Charms and Incanto Heaven. It will be introduced exclusively in Japan in January 2009, before being rolled out worldwide from next March.

The new fragrances from Ferragamo Parfums: Incanto Bliss, F by Ferragamo pour Homme Black and Ungaro Party

Described as “joyful and exuberant”, Incanto Bliss is a sparkling fruity floral juice, created by IFF’s Beatrice Piquet. Key notes includes yuzu, kumquat, apple, freesia, water lily, rose, musk and woods.

The fragrance flacon was designed by Sylvie de France. It reflects the scent’s enchanted marine theme, and is designed to portray an underwater fantasy, complete with bubbles, coral and starfish – a motif echoed on the outer carton.

Incanto Bliss will be available as 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edt sprays, priced domestically at around €35, €56 and €74, respectively. There will also be a 150ml body lotion (€22), and a 150ml bath and shower gel (€19).

Also new from Ferragamo, on the masculine side, is F by Ferragamo pour Homme Black. Described as an elegant, more intense “evening” version of the original F by Ferragamo pour Homme fragrance, it will be available from February 2009.

The amber-woody juice, created by IFF’s Olivier Polge, features notes of lavender absolute, black pepper, coriander seeds, labdanum and Tonka Bean.

The packaging is a reinterpretation of the original, with a black base and a gleaming silver logo. The outer carton also features silver and red, on a matte black background.

F by Ferragamo pour Homme Black will be available as a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edt spray, priced domestically at €34, €46 and €62, respectively.

Lastly, from Ungaro, Ferragamo will introduce Ungaro Party, described as the “ultimate expression of the young, trendy and metropolitan Ungaro woman”.

The scent will be available in selected markets, including France, the Middle East, Italy and parts of the US, in March 2009.

The juice, created by Firmenich’s Nathalie Lorson, features watermelon, lemon, lily of the valley, lotus flower, musk and sandalwood.

The floral theme is echoed on the outer carton, along with Ungaro’s signature polka dot motif, in hot pink against a glossy white background.

Ungaro Party will be available as a 30ml, 50ml and 90ml edt spray, priced domestically at around €29, €45 and €59 respectively.
