EUROPE. Ferrero Travel Market has rolled out its sports-themed summer campaign at key European airports in partnership with customer rewards specialist TLC Worldwide and online travel company Expedia.
The ‘Travel Is An Amazing Sport’ campaign was designed to coincide with major sporting events, the Euro 2024 tournament and the Olympic Games in Paris, offering travellers a chance to win travel and hotel vouchers.

The series of activations started at Frankfurt Airport with Gebr. Heinemann from April to May to capture football fans’ attention as they headed to Euro 2024 games.
The high-profile campaign is running throughout July and August at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport with Lagardère Travel Retail in time for the Olympics.
The promotion features impactful retail elements, showcasing Ferrero Travel Markets’ well-known brands such as Nutella, Kinder, Tic Tac and Ferrero Rocher.
Passengers who spend a minimum of €20 (US$12) on any Ferrero products at the dedicated pop-ups can win €20 (US$12) in travel credits, which can be spent on booking hotel stays. To claim the reward, shoppers upload their receipt to a specially created digital platform.

The credit can be spent on the TLC Worldwide platform, developed with Expedia, through one of the dedicated Travel Cards, which can be used in more than 700,000 hotels worldwide.
The immersive retail experience was designed to further drive brand awareness through a sense of fun and play, part of the company’s commitment to consumers.
The activations include impactful visuals and engaging interactive elements, with sporting competitions including shooting basketball hoops.
