Ferrero Travel Market unveils channel-exclusive ‘Kinder Catch The Stars’ campaign

Ferrero Travel Market has launched a summer campaign centred on its Kinder confectionery range, aimed at driving engagement during the peak holiday season.

The travel retail-exclusive ‘Kinder Catch The Stars’ campaign targets families with young children through an in-store activation offering the chance to win a trip to California worth up to €15,000.

The promotion is running until September in partnership with leading retailers across international airports in Milan, Paris, Cancún, Dubai, Bangkok, London and Larnaca.

Travellers enter the ‘Kinder Catch The Stars’ promotion by scanning a QR code at the point-of-sale and purchasing a Kinder product. They then play a short game and post the final image on Instagram to enter the contest.

The grand prize is a family trip to California to visit a well-known observatory. The winner will be announced in October 2025.

Ferrero Travel Market General Manager Sergio Salvagno said, “With ‘Kinder Catch The Stars’, we are bringing both wonder and reward into the travel retail space.

“This activation is more than just a prize promotion – it’s an invitation for families to dream, explore and enjoy playful moments together while travelling.

“Importantly, at Ferrero we recognise that the evolution of the food and confectionery sectors in travel retail depends on delivering distinctive, memorable and value-driven experiences.

“We are committed to engaging shoppers in meaningful ways that transcend the product itself, by providing added value and reinforcing brand loyalty at every available touchpoint.”

The Moodie Davitt Report recently announced the results of the inaugural TREX Awards. “Differentiation is key to creating real value in and consumer curiosity about travel retail. True TREXs do that, offering products of real value that by definition cannot be procured elsewhere,” said The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie. Nominations for the second TREX Awards will be called for later this year.
