UAE. Airline flydubai has launched a new online eShop, providing its passengers with the opportunity to pre-purchase a selection of duty free products before they fly.
The ecommerce platform replaces the traditional onboard duty free experience, but still allows passengers to have their chosen products delivered to their seat when they travel.
Any passenger who has made a booking with flydubai can access the flydubai eShop by entering their flight details. Users can select from a wide range of duty free items including fragrances & cosmetics, beverages, electronics, gadgets, jewellery & watches.
flydubai has also added a new inflight entertainment streaming service on its fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Passengers can enjoy complimentary inflight entertainment streamed wirelessly to their personal mobile devices, laptops and tablets.
Meanhwhile, passengers travelling in Business Class will continue to access to flydubai’s Inflight Entertainment (IFE) on their dedicated HD touchscreens for free.
flydubai’s Boeing 737 MAX aircraft also feature inflight entertainment with a full HD, 11.6-inch screen, with a wide selection of movies, TV shows, music and games in English, Arabic and Russian.
Also on the airline’s Boeing 737 MAX planes, passengers can enjoy complimentary seatback entertainment in Business Class or purchase entertainment packages from as little as AED15 (US$4.08) when travelling in Economy Class.
