The Ferrero Group has underlined its commitment to travel retail, and its partners, by focusing on a simplified brand portfolio led by best sellers.
The company, whose key brands include Nutella, Kinder, Tic Tac, Ferrero Rocher and Raffaello, said it has always – and especially since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic – worked to safeguard the health of its employees and of consumers while trying to ensure the survival of its business. Stringent product safety standards and quality control have been applied across its manufacturing process and infection prevention measures have been implemented in all Ferrero production plants and offices. The group is also supporting local communities by providing products and protective equipment to hospitals and social services. |
Travel retail, the company said, “remains a key focus”, with Ferrero Travel Market introducing a simplified portfolio to improve stock management and to ensure product availability for travelling shoppers.
New lines from Kinder include Kinder Bueno White, the Kinder Maxi bar and a licensed Kinder Surprise featuring Trolls characters.
A new Nutella platform, dedicated to the travel retail channel, will roll out in February 2021. Travel retail exclusive Nutella and Nutella B-ready products will be restyled and new in-store visibility tools introduced.
The revamp aims to highlight exclusivity, unique selling points and increased value.
