Foreo and Hyundai Duty Free partner for 11.11 Weibo campaign

SOUTH KOREA. Swedish beauty tech and wellbeing house Foreo and sister brand FAQ partnered with Hyundai Duty Free to launch a Weibo-only campaign for the 11.11 Singles Day shopping event (11 November).

The campaign, which was hosted on the Korean retailer’s 2.1 million follower strong Weibo account, saw both Foreo and FAQ give away special prizes to boost brand awareness and consumer engagement.

To participate in the giveaway, audiences were asked to follow Hyundai Duty Free and Foreo’s Weibo accounts, tag two friends and use the hashtag #BrandSHOW on their posts. Participants were asked to leave comments about their personal skincare methods to win prizes from Foreo and share why they would recommend FAQ to win prizes from FAQ.

Foreo chose six winners with the best answers who received a Foreo Luna 3, micro-foam cleanser and a ‘hongbao’, which is a red envelope filled with money, often used as a traditional gift in East Asian cultures. FAQ selected three winners who received a FAQ 102 device and a hongbao.

Six winners won a Luna 3 and micro-foam cleanser while 3 winners won a FAQ 102. The campaign reached 1.28  million impressions for Foreo and 926,000 for FAQ.

The Foreo campaign saw 1.28 million impressions and 7,169 engagements while the FAQ campaign reached 926,000 impressions and 7,264 engagements.

“Our 11.11 collaboration with Hyundai Duty Free has proven that we are indeed on the right track with our strategies, with the overwhelming response we received from the Weibo campaign.
