Fraternity Spirits extends its premium portfolio at IAADFS

Fraternity Spirits will present new Tequila Corralejo and El Ron Prohibido lines at this month’s IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas in Orlando (Booth 707).

With a focus on premium spirits, Fraternity aims to expand its distribution network in the Americas.

Exotic and out of the ordinary: El Ron Prohibido 15 (Gran Reserva) and El Ron Prohibido 12 will be highlighted at the IAADFS show

Ron Prohibido 12 and 15 (Gran Reserva) are described as exotic rums. The release of El Ron Prohibido (the Forbidden Rum) marks the return of an “out of the ordinary” Mexican rum, Fraternity stated, adding that the expression is an “evolution of rum and a revolution of premium spirits”.

Both rums are produced under the three-tier solera system, with new rum batches mixed with older batches. The rum combination is said to offer a “complete sensory profile”.

Corralejo Extra Añejo 1821 is a 100% blue agave tequila produced from double distillation in copper pot stills. It is aged for 36 months in oak barrels with a capacity of no more than 200 litres. The spirit combines sweet, cooked agave undertones with spicy notes including cinnamon, pepper and clove; notes of walnut, vanilla, almond and agave combine to offer a woody flavour.

Fraternity Spirits CEO Raffaele Berardi said: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at the IAADFS show once again. The Americas is a very important region for Fraternity Spirits, and we are confident that both our Corralejo Extra Añejo 1821 and Ron Prohibido 12 and 15 will be well-received.”
