HAINAN, CHINA. LVMH-owned premium skincare brand fresh has partnered with Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay Resort and Spa to launch the fresh Awaken Your Senses VIP event.
Awaken Your Senses is a month-long activation celebrating the brand’s newly expanded Crème Ancienne collection. It is running from 19 September to 19 October and has transformed the Chairman Suite at Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay into a serene beauty retreat.
The experience offers an exclusive Crème Ancienne spa ritual, a co-branded afternoon tea and a diffuser stone workshop, all designed to engage the senses and showcase the brand’s craftsmanship.
In collaboration with the hotel’s Huan Spa, fresh has introduced a bespoke Crème Ancienne spa ritual, designed to awaken the skin’s vitality through a tailored treatment using fresh products.
A highlight of the pop-up is the Crystal Energy Diffuser Stone Atelier, an interactive workshop where participants craft diffuser stones inspired by the arches of the Czech monastery where Crème Ancienne is made.
fresh hosted an exclusive preview for beauty KOLs and media representatives on 19 September, offering a first look at the new Crème Ancienne line. Attendees experienced hand massages and demonstrations which highlighted the collection’s restorative properties.
In addition, fresh and Grand Hyatt Sanya created a Crème Ancienne-themed afternoon tea experience to complement the activation. The menu draws inspiration from both the collection’s signature ingredients and local Hainan flavours. It features white truffle and honey mousse desserts, local savoury snacks and a selection of freshly brewed teas and speciality coffees.

A new era for Crème Ancienne
Rooted in a skincare formula dating back two millennia, fresh Crème Ancienne is claimed to be one of the world’s oldest face creams. The line’s newest addition, Crème Ancienne Essence, embodies this fusion of heritage and skincare science.
The formula features a water-oil structure, using three patented technologies to suspend 140 billion oil-phase micro-droplets in a water base. The droplets release upon contact to deliver deep hydration across up to 20 layers of the skin.
Crème Ancienne Essence improves texture, firmness and luminosity while optimising absorption of subsequent skincare. It features a lightweight texture with a velvet finish and a subtle chamomile scent. It is suitable for all skin types. 🏝️
