US. Gate Gourmet has been named the preferred airline caterer for Ted, United’s low fare airline, for its “Buy On Board” concept. The “Buy On Board” concept offers airline passengers the option to purchase reasonably priced, restaurant-quality food in the convenience of their seats.
Gate Gourmet catered the first daily Ted flight from Denver to Fort Lauderdale recently. Additional routes to be phased in over a four-month period include Denver to New Orleans, Tampa, and Orlando, and from Washington Dulles to Las Vegas.
