The Frankfurt showcase presents the world of BPI’s licensed designer fragrances |
GERMANY. Gebr Heinemann and Beauté Prestige International (BPI) have partnered to create a fragrance showcase at Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1B. And the campaign will be brought to other Heinemann locations soon.
Running through March and April at Frankfurt, BPI has created a presentation for its Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Jean Paul Gaultier and Elie Saab designer fragrances at the Heinemann Duty Free store. The campaign is accompanied by the chance for passengers to win prizes.
“We want to fill our customers with enthusiasm for the four designers and let them explore the world of their fragrances. Each discovery will increase the chance to answer four quiz questions correctly. And with a little bit of luck our customers might win small presents or one exclusive designer accessory each day,” said Katja Diehr, Head of Activity Management at Gebr Heinemann.
“In a harmonious cooperation with Beauté Prestige International we created an eye-catching event which aims to serve different types of consumers. We are happy to announce that our common promotion will be sent on a “˜fragrant trip’, because we would like to offer our customers in Scandinavia and Turkey the chance to experience this fascinating event. It is more about building a relationship than just selling the fragrance to the traveller.”
BPI Managing Director Travel Retail and Export Alexandre De Chaudenay added: “A “˜Scented tour around the world’ is the result of a close collaboration between BPI and Heinemann to offer a unique retailtainment concept in key airports. We have worked hand-in-hand to provide the consumer with an exclusive and tailor-made experience. It is a first for BPI and an “˜avant-première’ to the world.”
