GMR hosts key concessionaires’ meeting as spectacular Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 opening looms

INDIA. A watershed moment in the countdown to the opening of Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 3 takes place in Delhi over the next three days with a conference dedicated to the new facility.

Airport developer GMR Group – lead stakeholder in Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) – is hosting the event, which is bringing together concessionaires and stakeholders for a site preview today, followed by a two-day conference.

The Moodie Report Founder & Publisher Martin Moodie will moderate the first day’s proceedings.

The Moodie Report will also be reporting exclusively on several key developments that will be announced regarding the ambitious commercial offer at the spectacular new terminal.

‘New experiences, new partnerships, new airport’ – all will be revealed this week in Delhi

The site visit today will assess progress on the construction work, which is on schedule and set for an early July opening.

The ensuing conference, dubbed “˜New Experiences, New Partnerships, New Airport’, will kick off on Tuesday with a scene-setting presentation from GMR Chief of Commercial & Airport Strategic Development Suredj Autar, themed ‘Breakthroughs for the Next Generation’.

A major presentation on the commercial branding at T3 will follow. Then The Design Solution Director Robbie Gill will talk through the design principles that underpin the retail and food & beverage offer within the terminal structure.

Cocktails and a Gala Dinner will close out day one. Day two will include presentations from Airports Council International Director Economics Andreas Schimm, and a wide range of addresses from DIAL and Airport Commerce & Talent Management speakers.
