Godiva will unveil its new truffles collection, Truffes Délices, at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand E2, basement 2).
The Truffes Délices collection, said to take customers on a culinary journey, was created by Godiva chef chocolatier Ilse Wilmots with the “more adventurous palette in mind”.
Each truffle has a crispy outer shell and a mousse filling that is infused with flavour combinations such as black tea and ginger, blood orange and grapefruit and coffee and blonde chocolate. The light mousse fillings are covered in either dark chocolate or milk chocolate shells.

The full Truffes Délices collection comprises:
Fleur d‘Oranger/Orange Blossom: An almond mousse infused with an orange blossom flavour, covered in milk chocolate and finished with milk chocolate splitters and orange peel.
Agrumes/Citrus: Tangy blood orange and grapefruit mousse covered in a dark chocolate shell. The piece is finished with flakes of milk chocolate and lemon flecks.
Thé Noir/Black Tea: The earthy black tea and spicy ginger filling is moulded in a milk chocolate shell and enrobed in dark chocolate. The piece is finished with caramelised cocoa nibs and flecks of crispy chocolate.
Café Latte: Robusta coffee mousse is combined with Godiva’s blond chocolate and covered in milk chocolate. The decoration is made from a blend of milk and dark coffee splitters.
Framboise-Rose/Raspberry Rose: The raspberry filling is infused with a hint of natural rose flavouring and covered with a dark chocolate shell, which is decorated with raspberry and chocolate shavings.
Chef Ilse Wilmots said: “I wanted to celebrate the beauty of the traditional Belgian truffle in a fresh and modern way. I thought about how contrasting forces can come together to create something new and beautiful: the tensions between tradition and modernity, hard and soft, sweet and sharp. I believe these juxtapositions are what make Truffes Délices so exciting.”
The collection’s packaging was created to celebrate visually its contrasts. The light pastel hues of the artwork are a nod to the mousse fillings, while the partially embossed packaging hints at the multi-textural nature of the truffles.
Godiva Head of Global Packaging & Visual Merchandising Maria Williams noted: “We wanted the boxes to be something you want to touch and admire. Like the truffles themselves, the box was created to engage, and to thrill, all of the senses.”
