Guerlain has expanded its fragrance and lifestyle collections with four launches at the start of 2026. These include new products for the L’Art & La Matière Art of Living range, as well as additions to the La Petite Robe Noire, L’Homme Idéal and Absolus Allegoria Tabac Sahara lines.
All releases were created by Guerlain Perfume Creation Director Delphine Jelk and entered global travel retail on 1 January.
L’Art & La Matière Art of Living

The Art of Living line is structured around the Guerlinade, the Maison’s historic fragrance accord built on six raw materials.
The lifestyle range spans candles, soaps and a car diffuser, each offered in six Guerlinade scents: Tonka Sarrapia, Iris Pallida, Rose Centifolia, Vanille Planifolia, Bergamote Fantastico and Jasmin Grandiflorum.
All six scents are also featured in Guerlain’s Les Extraits Signature, the most concentrated expressions of the Guerlinade within the L’Art & La Matière portfolio.
For 2026, Les Extraits Signature will feature a limited-edition customisation developed in collaboration with jewellery designer Begüm Khan. The decorative plates, crafted in gold-plated bronze and handset with stones, are produced in a limited run of 142 pieces per design.
The Art of Living range includes refillable candles formulated with beeswax. Presented in two-tone jars that draw inspiration from the L’Art & La Matière fragrance bottles, the pieces are decorated with Guerlain’s bee emblem.

The candles are designed to be customisable, allowing consumers to mix scents and jar designs, with an optional engraving service available.
The line also introduces a range of solid soaps for hands and body, crafted in an octagonal format. Each soap weighs 150g and is enriched with shea butter.
The car diffuser is designed to attach to vehicle air vents and accommodate interchangeable fragrance refills. The diffuser allows users to adjust intensity and switch scents without residual fragrance transfer.

Absolus Allegoria Tabac Sahara

Tabac Sahara is the latest addition to the Absolus Allegoria range, which was first introduced in 2024. Absolus Allegoria is a collection of intense, nocturnal-inpsired fragrances.
The amber-woody fragrance is a nod to perfume’s origins, per fumum, meaning ‘through smoke’. Perfume Creation Director Jelk was inspired by the rich pink and purple hues of a desert sunset. Smoky tobacco forms the core of the fragrance, while a raspberry accord adds a contrasting fruity note. Ambergris contributes woody, musky and marine notes in the dry down.
Tabac Sahara contains more than 90% naturally derived ingredients and uses alcohol sourced from responsibly farmed beetroot.
The bottle follows the Allegoria collection’s signature design, produced in France using 15% recycled glass. With a screwable spray top and transparent lacquer to support recyclability, the glass flaçon is presented in an intense purple shade, consistent with other Absolus Allegoria fragrances in the range.
Tabac Sahara is available in 75ml (€138) and 125ml (€190) formats.

L’Homme Idéal Cologne Forte

Guerlain Cologne Forte is a limited-edition addition to the L’Homme Idéal men’s fragrance line. The release reinterprets the range’s signature almond note, combining the freshness of an Eau de Cologne with the intensity of an Eau de Parfum.
L’Homme Idéal Cologne Forte opens with grapefruit top notes, before developing into a warmer woody base built around vetiver and incense. Almond remains central throughout the composition, staying close to the wider L’Homme Idéal portfolio while introducing a contrast between cool and warm accords.
The fragrance uses legume-based alcohol sourced from sustainable agriculture. The alcohol is produced through the upcycling of pea crop waste grown for food production.
The cologne is housed in the brand’s L’Homme Idéal bottle, drawn from Guerlain’s archives. For this limited edition, the bottle features a black-and-white colour palette, with a metallic square label and coordinated pack insert. The liquid itself appears in an intense grey shade.
The launch is supported by campaign visuals centred on the concept of contrast. Images depict the almond ingredient encased in ice and flames to reflect the fragrance’s dual fresh and warm character.
L’Homme Idéal Cologne Forte is available in 100ml (€129).

La Petite Robe Noire Parfum

The La Petite Robe Noire Parfum is a higher-concentration format of the brand’s long-running fragrance line.
A fruity amber floral scent, La Petite Robe Noire Parfum is centred on a rose praline accord created by Jelk specifically for the fragrance. This is accompanied by praline and cherry notes with patchouli, vanilla and tonka bean at the base.
Packaging follows the brand’s inverted heart bottle shape, introduced with La Petite Robe Noire in 2012.
The Parfum bottle features a fluorescent-pink lacquer contrasted with black shoulders. The neck ribbon also appears in pink for the first time, with the colour extended to the outer packaging.
Guerlain has partnered with stop-motion artist Elsa Muse for the fragrance campaign.
The film, produced entirely using stop-motion animation, features a stylised interpretation of the La Petite Robe Noire little black dress, set within a Parisian night scene.
The campaign was created using handcrafted sets and figures, with the production involving approximately 1,000 hours of set construction, 250 hours dedicated to rose fabrication and three weeks of studio shooting to capture nearly 600 images.

La Petite Robe Noire Parfum uses alcohol derived from French beetroot sourced through responsible farming channels. The bottle incorporates 15% recycled glass, while the inverted heart cap contains at least 70% bio-based material.
La Petite Robe Noire Parfum is available in a 100ml format (€166). ✈
