Guerlain has extended its popular Abeille Royale line with two new oil-in products: The Scalp & Hair Youth Oil-in-Serum and Intense Repair Youth Oil-in-Balm. Both releases are now available at selected stores in global travel retail.
The extension follows the relaunch of Guerlain’s Youth Watery Oil, which now contains 95% natural-origin ingredients. According to the company, one Youth Watery Oil is sold every 20 seconds.
Both products were developed with Dynamic Black Bee Repair Technology which accelerates the skin’s self-repair mechanisms by stimulating the connections between nerve cells and skin cells by +300%.
The Scalp & Hair Youth Oil-in-Serum is Guerlain’s first foray into haircare since the 1970s. The Oil-in-Serum combines the richness of an oil with the efficacy of a serum, concentrated in honey and royal jelly. It has been infused with an active ingredient-rich D-Panthenol complex that plumps and strengthens hair fibres.
The formula was made with 97% natural-origin ingredients and comes in a recyclable glass bottle made from partially recycled material and FSC-certified cardboard.

Clinical tests on 28 women over a three-month period revealed that scalp vitality increased +300%, hair strength by +500%, with visible thickness and shine increasing by +55% and +88%, respectively.
The Intense Repair Youth Oil-in-Balm was designed for dry skin, weakened by climate conditions and extended mask-wearing. The cream contains concentrated Ouessant honey which protects the skin against daily stressors, Cicawax Complex that soothes the skin and beeswax butter that delivers hydration and nutrition.
The formula is made with 95% natural-origin ingredients and features a hybrid oil and balm texture. It is packaged in a partially-recycled glass, honeycomb shaped jar and FSC-certified cardboard box.
Dermatological evaluations on 32 women after one month of use revealed that the skin smoothness increased by +46%, shine by +129% and skin texture was refined by +39%.
For over ten years, Guerlain has been committed to protecting and conserving bees, which have become a symbol for the brand’s long-term sustainability goals.

Guerlain’s sustainable mission comprises five pillars: innovating sustainably in full transparency, preserving biodiversity and protecting bees, acting for climate change and creating a positive social impact while safeguarding nature.
Last year, Guerlain teamed up with UNESCO to launch the ‘Women for Bees’ female beekeeping entrepreneurship programme. The ‘Guerlain For Bees Conservation Programme,’ which embraces the Women for Bees campaign, is focused on four key areas: bee protection, bee welfare, bee repopulation and education on bees.
