Hawaii tenders Lihue airport retail

US (HAWAII). The State of Hawaii, through its Department of Transportation – Airports Division, is seeking an experienced operator for the retail concession at Lihue airport on the Island of Kauai. Lihue airport, the fourth busiest of the Hawaii airports, handled 2.6 million passengers in 2002.

Sales for the Lihue concession, which is being offered for another five years, totalled US$1.3 million in 2002.

Bid documents may be purchased for US$25 from the Airports Division Office at 400 Rodgers Boulevard, Suite 700, Honolulu Hawaii 96819, US

The bid deadline is 2.00pm on 22 April and a pre-bid conference has been scheduled for 9.00am on 4 February. Written questions will be answered up until 18 February and each prospective bidder must complete a Notice of Intention to Bid by 4.00pm on 29 March.
