Hazel Catterall, former head of womenswear at Harvey Nichols, is joining retail advisers Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH) as Director in the travel retail team.

Catterall will join the expanding travel retail division on 1 July. Before her role at high-end department store Harvey Nichols, Catterall spent 10 years at Heathrow Airport and BAA airports as head of fashion and accessories. She was also part of the management team that launched Terminal 5 and Terminal 2 at the London airport.
“I’m delighted to join HDH at such an exciting time for travel retailing globally,” Catterall said. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring together my airports experience and my passion for brands, and create powerful and compelling new strategies with both brands and airports alike.”
Simon Black, who heads up the HDH travel retail division, commented: “I am both extremely excited and happy to have Hazel joining us. Our travel retail division continues to grow at pace and Hazel’s knowledge and experience of concession environments both in airports and in department stores will be a massive asset to both the retail and airport partners we are working with. She is a renowned brand expert and thrives on helping brands grow and develop their businesses.”
The travel retail division at HDH provides advice to more than 40 retailers across the globe on the development and implementation of travel retail strategies across both retail and F&B.
