Vine & Leaf is Heinemann Asia Pacific’s first duty free concept store at Singapore Changi Airport |
SINGAPORE. Heinemann Asia Pacific has opened its first duty free concept store, Vine & Leaf, in Singapore Changi Airport. Located at the Terminal 2 Departure Hall, the 98sq m retail store offers a selection of over 500 fine wines and cigars.
Vine & Leaf is said to offer several “˜firsts’ in travel retail. These include a vintage interior design inspired by old world wineries, a wine tasting bar equipped with an enomatic machine for sampling of premium wines, and an interactive touch screen and iPads for easy access to product “˜edutainment’, Heinemann said.
For those who are new to wines, the store also has sections showcasing recommended wines based on different types of food, ranging from Asian and western cuisine to dessert.

Heinemann Asia Pacific Chief Executive Officer Steffen Brandt said: “The opening of Vine & Leaf at Changi Airport, one of the world’s leading and busiest international airports, marks a significant milestone for Heinemann Asia Pacific. In line with the grand opening, Vine & Leaf has brought in one of the rarest and finest French wines, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild 1945. Only six bottles are available exclusively at Vine & Leaf.
Vine & Leaf is open from 6am to 1am.
